I always thought I was rubbish at gardening... in my younger days I quite successfully killed any plant that was unfortunate enough to end up in my care. However, inspired by a couple of green fingered friends I have decided to give this gardening lark another try. It's not going to be an easy task - when I started this my back garden rather resembled a jungle, and that's after my mum cam round last summer and nuked all the waist high tree-like weeds. (They've mostly grown back by now anyway.)
Nonetheless, I am not going to be deterred by the enormity of the task before me. My aim is to take it in small steps, and celebrate success along the way! I started this blog a couple of weeks in to my journey, when I realised what epic proportions it was likely to take. I'd like to prove to my disbelieving family that I am actually going to do it(!) as well as hopefully getting some tips and some questions answered. I envisage myself posting pictures of emerging shoots so that cleverer people than me can tell me whether it's a baby lettuce or just a weed.
It's funny, I never really thought of myself as someone who would like gardening, but so far I'm really enjoying it.
Maybe some net? ask my mate Charlotte she has the same problem....stopbeingacrazymum@blogspot ;)
